The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned goaltender Chris Carrozzi from the Chicago Wolves to the ECHL’s Gwinnett Gladiators.
Carrozzi made his American Hockey League debut on March 1 and stopped 21 shots in the Wolves 6-5 overtime loss to the Peoria Rivermen at Carver Arena.
The 20-year-old netminder has appeared in 35 ECHL outings with Gwinnett during his professional debut this season (13-13-5), posting a 3.23 goals-against average and .896 save percentage.
The Wolves return to Carver Arena tonight to face the Rivermen at 7 p.m., before hosting the Manitoba Moose at the Allstate Arena on Sunday at 3 p.m.
